If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place.

We go hard. In everything we do we're going to accomplish our victory and our goal. If it takes a day, a year, or 20 years, we're going to win. I haven't taken a loss because everything I've done has been a working process to win. From being a kid on them turntables to becoming where I am is not a loss. It's a blessing.

The Toyota style is not to create results by working hard.

The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced. If the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt, people must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.

Let us do our duty well; let us go straight to God; let us work to become very humble, very patient, very mortified, and very charitable.
It is a lesson we all need - to let alone the things that do not concern us.

Winning means you're willing to go longer, work harder, and give more than anyone else.

Passion is a huge prerequisite to winning.
It makes you willing to jump through hoops, go through all the ups and downs and everything in between to reach your goal.

Wherever you go, there you are. Whatever you wind up doing, that's what you've wound up doing. Whatever you are thinking right now, that's what's on your mind. Whatever has happened to you, it has already happened. The important question is, "how are you going to handle it?" .... Like it or not, this moment is all we really have to work with.

I’m not good-looking. I used to be, but not anymore. Not like Robert Taylor. What I have got is I have character in my face. It’s taken an awful lot of late nights and drinking to put it there. When I go to work in a picture, I say, ‘Don’t take the lines out of my face. Leave them there.’
If you feel safe in the area you’re working in, you’re not working in the right area. Always go a little further into the water than you feel you’re capable of being in. Go a little bit out of your depth. And when you don’t feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you’re just about in the right place to do something exciting.
There really is no such thing as race.

The best advice I can give anybody is to try to understand who you are and what you want to do, and don't be afraid to go down that road and do whatever it takes and work as hard as you have to work to achieve that.
The nature of process, to one degree or another, involves failure.

I'm not interested in trying to work on people's perceptions. I am who I am, and if you don't take the time to learn about that, then your perception is going to be your problem.
