John Candy was a Canadian actor and comedian, best known for his roles in films such as Uncle Buck, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Home Alone. He was a member of the famous comedy troupe The Second City and starred in many popular films of the 1980s and 1990s. He died suddenly of a heart attack in 1994 at the age of 43.
